Two teens arrested on burglary charges

Staff Writer Oct. 7 two Princeton residents were arrested and charged with two felony counts for burglary. Aaron Dale Gathwright, 18, and Christopher Manuel Loya, 17, were investigated and arrested because of their connection to the burglary of a building near Princeton; however, when officers apprehended the suspects, they also discovered stolen property that connected the men to additional burglaries in Lowery Crossing and on FM 546.   Lieutenant John Norton, public information officer for the Collin County Sheriff’s Office, said, “We did recover several violins, jewelry boxes, a computer and miscellaneous jewelry, all of which has been returned to the victim.”   All three burglaries occurred between Oct. 5 and 7, Norton said.

I'm glad they caught them... most burglaries go unpunished. I had a laptop stolen from me and they never caught the responsible party.

Unfortunately a lot of crime goes unsolved.  Unless it is a big theft the police don't have the man power to spend a lot of time on small stuff.  The only thing we can do is to make it hard for the criminals to steal our stuff like don't leave anything in your car that can be seen and keep all doors locked...
