Are there any new business not linked to the Chamber of Commerce

Are you the reporter of the Chamber of Commerce? I ask because I see only members of the CoC? Do you have to be a member to be in business here in Princeton?
Every time I go there, it is close.

Well anyone with a business in the Princeton area is welcome to talk about their business and do not have to be a member the chamber.  I just happen to be webmaster for the chamber so I have an in with the members.

The chamber runs mostly in the afternoon hours because of not enough help..

One of the reasons I put up this forum is so Princeton business's could get their business name on the web somewhere but the word is not getting around very quickly..but maybe in time...

The only thing moving here is US HWY 380. Everything else is dead....Work on MonteCarlo is stopped and have been such as that for weeks...the South East corner of 380 and 2nd str/982 has look the same for months...All these
big machines resting there for months....It must be normal for Princeton, the local mullet wrapper is not forwarding any complaint.....

In regard of your answer #1 to put the Princeton's business on the net..
There is a site called Merchant Circle which has more listed businesses in Princeton than with the Chamber of Commerce...perhaps because it is more affordable...it is free!

In 2008 the chamber had well over 100 members and when the financial crisis hit they lost a lot due to cash flow..

Yes most of those came after the post, but all of those are chamber members..

I stopped announcing the new chamber members here because they are all listed on the chamber website.

If they have a Grand opening I will announce that here..

Well they don't quit per say, they just don't renew.  All chamber memberships are for a year..

If they don't renew then I guess you could say they quit..

I think they quit after the membership renewal dateline...look at April and now.....

Because of the financial situation there was a lot them that did not renew from last year and there were some that renewed very late..
